About Water World

One of the largest family water parks in the country, Water World is only a 15-minute drive north of downtown Denver. When they first opened in 1979, they only offered two waterslides. Today, they have over 46 features and are one of the top fun attractions in Denver! Rated as one of the top 10 water parks in the United States by the Travel Channel, this is one local adventure that you must check out!

The variety of attractions at Water World are far more than your average water park. Water World offers more family-friendly tube rides than any other water park in America, allowing for a fun day with the whole family. They offer attractions that range from Wally World for the toddlers, to the Voyage to the Center of the Earth ride for the ultimate in family adventure.

There are lots of picnic spots available at Water World that range from beautiful green grass to covered pavilions. They also have 3 different Children’s play areas, including the brand-new Big Top Family Fun Zone. Some of the newer attractions Water World has opened is Colorado’s only magnetic water coaster (The Mile High Flyer), their interactive slide adventure (Warp Speed), and their newest boarding experience, Cowabunga Beach!

Water World also offers a variety of food and beverage options, from classic burgers to delicious pizza! And of course, no water park would be complete without delicious frozen treats and ice cream! Water World is truly one of the best Summer attractions for families in all of Colorado.
