About Four Mile Historic Park

Four Mile Historic Park is a tranquil, 12-acre historic site and the site of Denver’s oldest house. You can tour the museum, explore the gardens and grounds, pan for “‘gold” and visit farm animals. Explore frontier life and learn about Denver’s western heritage at this piece of history nestled in the middle of the city.

Four Mile Historic Park hosts several special events and free days throughout the year and is the perfect place for families to unplug and step back in time! Birthday parties and scout experiences are available as well.

Admission includes a guided tour of the museum, gold-panning, a Family Activity Pack to help you explore the park (subject to availability) and access to the buildings, barns, Native American Tipi and Miner and Trapper area.
