The Downtown Denver Ice Rink located at Skyline Park is one of the top destinations for wintertime fun! This ice rink offers totally free ice skating every day of the week from November to February. Over 400,000 skaters have glided across this ice rink since it’s opening in 2009 for good reason, it’s a great activity for kids and adults of all ages. Skates can be rented for a small fee, or bring your own and hop on the ice anytime you want for no charge.
Beyond the regular ice skating, this rink offers many special events throughout the season. These include junior skate nights, skating with the penguin Parade of Lights mascot Major Waddles, skating with Santa and Friday night DJ’s playing great family-friendly tunes from 7 – 9 PM. They also have multiple weekly Broomball games in which anyone can attend on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can even rent the space for great birthday party fun or other special events!
