About Denver Trolley

Denver was once home to an extensive electric rail transit network, boasting more than 250 miles of urban tracks and an additional 40 miles of high-speed interurban lines, linking Denver to Boulder and Golden. This system served thousands of daily commuters who relied on it for reaching downtown Denver for various activities like shopping, work, school, social visits, and leisure. However, with the advent of the automobile era and the introduction of a new bus system, the entire trolley service was phased out by 1950. Today, the Denver Trolley represents a small, preserved segment of this once vast rail system, offering a glimpse into the past for modern visitors to appreciate and enjoy.

Trolley Stops
The Denver Trolley departs from the home platform at REI/Confluence Park every 30 minutes. The Trolley’s first stop is at the Downtown Aquarium. The 2nd stop is at the Children’s Museum of Denver.
