About Morrison Natural History Museum

Explore dinosaur wonders with expert guides and fun, hands-on displays at Jefferson County’s first museum for dinosaur studies. Dive into the world of fossils, old and new, and watch real dinosaur research happening in the lab where scientists work on uncovering dinosaur secrets. Some of the cool discoveries they’ve made include tiny Stegosaurus bones, footprints of baby long-necked dinosaurs, and the front part of an Apatosaurus ajax’s face!

This museum is a great starting point for adventures to the Red Rocks and Dinosaur Ridge, just 25 minutes from downtown Denver in Morrison, Colorado. The Morrison Natural History Museum has been talked about in the Smithsonian magazine and other news from around the world.
