About LGBTQ+ Adventure

Looking for an adventurous yet inclusive trip for your young ones this summer? This 6-day LGBTQ+ Adventure for high school students celebrating queer identity is the perfect opportunity! Set in the stunning landscapes of Summit County, Colorado, and on the verge of the Colorado River, your 9th to 12th graders will enjoy nature with a variety of activities, like immersive backpacking in the picturesque White River National Forest, to the thrill of rafting the Upper Colorado. The Program looks to expand their outdoor skills, such as setting up camp and filtering water in a space for community, celebration, and experiencing joy in the outdoors with other LGBTQIA+ youth. The beauty of the Rockies and the experiences from this adventure will create lasting memories in a supportive, inclusive, and safe environment!

During the height of summer (usually June through August), high temperatures wreak havoc on humans who are not too keen on warm temperatures. However, survival is possible!
Take a look at our top picks for awesome waterparks and pools to keep you and the kids cool during the summer months in Denver.
