Dinosaur fans of all ages will get closer to dinosaurs than ever before in this mesmerizing exhibition!

You will be immersed in interactive scenes inspired by the Jurassic World movie and see the park that was only fiction, coming to life right before your eyes!

During this Sunset Hike for ages 0 and up, everyone will get to relax and enjoy a golden hour hike, taking in one of Backcountry’s magnificent sunsets, and watching the crepuscular animals come to life!

During these workshops, kids will have fun and learn about the Museum’s most popular exhibits.

This summer, kids ages 7 to 13 years old can enjoy some time in the Backcountry learning about the wildlife of Colorado!

Among the many fun activities, kids will identify skulls and other biofacts, explore the trails to find evidence of wild animals, practice scientific observation, play games, and enjoy the summer weather!

The Princess and the Pea is a show for the whole family in which King Roderick and Queen Catherine are searching for a “real princess” for their son, Prince Alfred. Along comes Angelica, and she and Alfred become great friends and get along very well… until he finds out she is not who he thought she was, then the fun begins!

The Denver Museum of Nature and Science is offering full-day summer camps for kids going into grades Kindergarten through 6th grade!

Kids will play and learn as they experiment, create, build, ask questions, and develop a knowledge of and passion for science!

During this week of Farm Camp, kids ages 6-12 years old will learn about pollinators, from bees to bats, butterflies to hummingbirds, and everything in between!

Enjoy a hike into the Backcountry Wilderness Area guided by the full moon.

During this week of gardening 101, campers will be learning all about what plants need to thrive, and will take care of the gardens and plant their own mini-garden to take home!

Kids will get to spend an unforgettable summer night during Wild Summer!

This free, guided walking tour is led by professional naturalists from SSPRD and offers insight and education into the natural environment of Schweiger Ranch.

Join the ranch for some fresh air, exercise, and to see and hear the early morning cheery birds of spring!

Families will do a short nature hike, play with the chickens, meet the goats, and relax in the outdoors.

Summer is a great season to enjoy some reading and stories!

In this free, guided walking tour, you will join Schweiger Ranch Foundation and South Suburban Parks & Recreation District to learn about the bison’s important history and uses while walking the high plains.

Kids ages 7-13 years old can enjoy this fun astronomy program while parents have time for themselves!

Families with kids ages 7 and up can learn about all they need to survive in the Backcountry.

Kids ages 7-10 can make a home for a little fairy or gnome! With sticks and stones and extra building materials, kids will have everything they need for fairies and gnome homes, and they will also make a fairy wand or wizard staff craft to take home!
